Although it is advised to upgrade to one of the newer version of Servoy, if that is not possible, there are two options to continue:

  • Downgrade all clients to an earlier version of Java
  • Fix the Servoy installation and configure all Clients:
    • Remove the swingbeans.jar from the application_server\beans directory of the installation
    • On all client machines, in their Java Control panel, select 'Enable - hide warning and run with protections' under advanced tab > security > mixed code. See the following screenshot for an example of the Java Control Panel
    • If unsigned 3rd party plugins and/or beans are used, those will need to be signed. Check with the plugin vendor for new, signed versions of the plugins/beans or manually sign the plugins/beans. For more information on manually signing the plugins and beans, see JAR signing
