This chapter will describe how to configure the Servoy Applicati= on Server.
Most of the settings of the Servoy Application Server can be managed thr= ough the Servoy Admin Page,= some require the editing of configuration files.
The Servoy Admin Page ca= n be accessed using a browser at the following url: {serverURL}/servoy-admi= n. The first page shows the Servoy Application Server status and Servoy Settings.
All the settings done through the Servoy Admin Page are stored in the servoy.properties file, locat= ed in {servoyInstall}/application_server.
Manual editing of the servoy.properties file
It is possible to edit the servoy.properties file by hand, using a text = editor. Do make sure to shut down the Servoy Application Server prior to ed= iting. Otherwise, the changes will be overwritten when shutting down or res= tarting the Servoy Application Server.
The servoy.properties file also support property value substitution, so = a property of servoy:
servoy.property=3Dvalue
can also be set like:
servoy.property=3D${value}
that value can be then another property value but also a system.property= or an environment property.
This way you can provision the properties from the outside (like a docke= r image)
