This chapter provides information on how to deploy an applicatio= n in Servoy.
If you are using the full stack of Servoy Cloud Services the deployment of an application, from= source code to automatic testing to pre-production to production is comple= tely managed by Servoy from it's own servers.
If you are using the Se= rvoy Cloud Pipeline from the Servoy Cloud Services offering, the buildi= ng of an application, from source code to tested code to deployable package= is managed by Servoy from it's Cloud Pipeline Servers and a WAR file or a = Docker Container ready to be installed on your servers will be automaticall= y produced.
Consult the Servoy Cloud= Services chapter for additional information on Servoy Cloud offering= p>
Servoy Developer offers the option= to export the Servoy Applicat= ion Server to a so-called WAR file . This WAR file can then be deployed on any J2EE standards compliant application server, like Apache Tomcat, Glassfish, IBM = WebSphere or Jetty<= /a> for example.

WAR deployment is the only option for an NGClient, because a lot more re= sources are needed other than just the solution.
In the export dialog you have get the option to select the webcomponents= and services that you want to include in the generated WAR file. All the c= omponents and services you use in your solution (directly in the designer o= r solutionmodel/scripting) should be checked and exported.

The previous way to deploy Servoy applications that included installing = the Servoy application Server from the Servoy installer and deploying the .= servoy file through the servoy-admin page of the server has been deprecated= .
Servoy periodically produces = Technical Webinars = targeted to developers covering a broad range of topics, from new features to new capabilities t= o best practices. The following webinars are focused on WAR application dep= loyment:
