Fixes and improvements in this release:
...
- Query builder has been extended with function query.inline(), see Quering a Database Using the Query Builder
...
- Date format dialog now has a new checkbox "Use Local Date", this only works for NGClient and does the same as "servoy.use.client.timezone" property for smart clients (that option should not be used for NGClient), but now you can say per field/element if the time should be only local (this means the date will be 1-1-2017 12:00 everywhere) instead of seeing it as a UTC time that shows a different time string in a different timezone (like a calendar date). So if you want to show a birth date in a field then you need to check that option in the format dialog, if you show a date for a Webinar where people should really see at what time it is in their timezone then that option should not be selected.
Behavior changes
- Search for values are no longer returning results for values that are longer than the database column value.
For example, when a column has length 3, a value of 'abc' will no longer match when a search is done for value 'abcd'.
This affects both find/search and queries executed with the Query Builder. - If a WAR deploy fails to really import the solution (import database data) then the war will now cancel the deployment. This way it is more clear that everything did not go well. This is for example happen of then because of "allow keywords" is not checked in the import options.
