The Servoy Application Server provides the connectivity towards databases.

Individual Servoy Clients clients always connect to access databases through the Servoy Application Server.

The Servoy Application Server holds a pool of database connections for each configured Database Server, based on the configuration settings provided (see Database Servers). The connections in the pool are shared by all Servoy Clients.
