About This Guide

This guide provides information on deploying solutions developed with Servoy. It focuses on deploying solutions in a Client-Server covers the deployment of solutions build on the Servoy platform to end-users. The guide focuses mainly on the client-server deployment model using the Servoy Application Server in combination with and the Servoy Smart Client and Servoy Web Client, but Additionally, there is a chapter on the Servoy Runtime Client will be discussed as well.

The Introduction chapter gives an overview of the architecture of Servoy's deployment offering, describing all the parts involved.

The majority of the chapters provide information on the various aspects of the Servoy Application Server like installation, configuration, operation and more advanced topics like Tuning, Load Balancing and Clustering.

The Runtime Client chapter provides information about distributing solutions using a runtime based deployment model, instead of the Client-Server model.
