The Servoy installer is provided as an all-in-one cross-platform installer (.jar file). For Windows users, an executable file installer is also provided, as some virus scanners block the execution of .jar files.
The Servoy Application Server requires at least one database for the Servoy Repository. The all-in-one installer comes bundled with PostgreSQL, or users can specify an existing database connection during installation.
If required, Servoy may also be installed in a non-GUI environment, by first using the all-in-one installer in a GUI environment to generate an unattended installation script.
